Nature-inclusive production sites
Fenced utility ground becomes living habitat, without compromising drinking-water safety.
Why this project.
Drinking-water production sites are fenced, guarded and mown. That makes them some of the most undisturbed ground in the province, and some of the emptiest.
The work turns that ground into habitat without touching what the fence is there to protect. Safety of the water supply sets the boundary; inside it, the mown grass gives way to planting that belongs in this landscape.
